Preservation and Celebration of the Parker Family History & Genealogy

Hi All!

I'm really tired of being the broken off branch at the base of the Parker tree. I want to be reattached!!

Since I was given up for adoption at birth, and my biological father not knowing about my existence, it's been difficult trying to locate him or any family on my Parker side.

Does anyone here know a William (Bill) Parker that's about 65 years old? I know I must have cousins and even 1/2 brothers and sisters out there somewhere. I'd like to find them.

If you know any William or Bill Parkers about 65 years old, could you please direct him or any of his relatives to this website?

THANKS!!!!!

Hi Brandy!

I don't have specifics on my bioloigical father, unfortunately. I was given up for adoption at birth and my original birth certificate was sealed by the State of California.

All I have is what my biological mother remembers: William (or Bill) Parker was about 25 years old in 1968. He lived briefly in an apartment on Knott Ave., Buena Park California during that time and attended a halloween party there in 1968. (I came along 9 months later.) He moved before my biological mom knew she was pregnant, so he probably doesn't have a clue that I'm looking for him. She described him as having brown hair, brown eyes, medium complexion, about 5'8". His mother lived somewhere in the desert north of Los Angeles, but her name is unknown.

That's all I have. I'm frustrated with the fact that my birth records are sealed and that there might be more information (date of birth, etc.) on that document. It's so unfair that adopted persons must live their lives not knowing their heritage because the "state" doesn't think they deserve that information. Such discrimination.

Thanks so much for your response, Brandy! Do you know a William Parker that fits my limited description?

Not sure where you are from but my father William Parker would be 65ish if he was still alive. I am 45 and live in Wilmington, Delaware

Hi William!

Thanks for responding to my post!!!

My biological father was living with or visiting another male relative of his while he was in Buena Park, California in October of 1968.

Was your Dad in California at all in 1968? Your profile says that you have an Aunt & Uncle that moved to Los Angeles in the 70's? Buena Park is in Orange County which is adjacent to Los Angeles. Hmmm....

It is possible, my Uncle was the vice president of the vlasic pickle company originally here in delaware and then was transferred to california. A couple of years after arriving in LA, he lost everything he had and had become a street person. I cant pinpoint the exact year that everyone was in california

It would be interesting if he came out in 1968 and your if dad came out with him.

I am adopted also and know the same frustration. I was born in OH but adopted across the river in KY.
My records are also perm. sealed. BUT I did get non-identifying information from Frankfort. I also got my
delivery records from a charity but i can't remember the name of it now. All names had been removed.

Hi Tammy!

Yes, it's pretty sick how our government allows adopted persons to be "legally" discriminated against by sealing their original (true) birth records and issuing falsified amended ones. As far an non-identifiying information? OMG, what a joke. My father is listed as having brown hair, brown eyes, medium complexion, unknown ethnicity, then.....wait for it....... CAUCASIAN!!!! Wow, it's interesting how they came up with that being they didn't know his ethnicity and the color of his skin was not light. A lot of my friends on the online adoptee support group at adultadoptees.org have proven that their non id's were actually made up by the social workers!!!! Lies, Lies and MORE Lies for bastards. Have you heard of the yearly protest for adoptee rights at the national state legislators convention? The next one is in July in Kentucky.
