No, This is the right Benjamin Meadows and Nancy Parker. The spelling is as it came off the original Greene County, marriage data. These Parkers in Greene County, Georgia are all linked.

Hello....Some discoveries in my Family Genealogy shows that this Group would follow my Grandmothers Family Line more closely because my Grandmother's family were from Texas and there could possibly be relatives in this FG Group....Never know....

Does anyone have information on a Richard Parker (Sr) born about 1728, in North Carolina, died on April 6, 1799 in Green Co, Georgia. He married Ann Hogan Abt. 1755....

My research has led me to believe that our Daniel E. Parker of Thomaston, Upson Co, Georgia, Born March 15, 1756, Albemarle, Virginia and died Aug. 14, 1844 Upson, Georgia....Married: Lucy "Ann" White Abt. 1783, could be a son of Richard Parker (Sr.) and Ann Hogan..

My research also shows that Richard Parker was a Major in the Revolutionary War....My Grandmother is Thelma Sarah "Tommie" Parker. born Nov. 10, 1889, Kerrville, Kerr Co, Texas and her father was Thomas Sherwood Parker Jr. born Dec. 17, 1853, Mississippi....You can check out "My Page" for more details....

Thanks

Brandy, I am down from the Youngblood line. My GGGmother was Elizabeth Dwight the young baby who survived the Fort Parker Massacre. She married Jasper Youngblood (we think) and had Arminta Youngblood in 1873. I have been told the Parkers married into our line somewhere but I am not sure if it is through the Youngbloods but that did happen twice with the Dwight line.

I am in search of the William Parker/Lucinda Odom line. I can document their children and Lucinda but William is a complete mystery. He is never on the census and there are no documents to his marriage or death... We have been told his full name is William Henry Parker. On his oldest son's death certificate it lists his father as being William from GA. I have Lucinda and the children on the 1860 census living in Newton county, Texas.

Lucinda's maiden name is Odom. Born about 1820.  Her mother was a Deason. And a few of the siblings married into the Youngbloods that lived in Newton. In her mother and fathers wills she is refered to as Lucinda (sometimes Lauranda) Parker.

William & Lucinda's children:

Richard Benjamin (b. 1843)  m. Mahulda Brown

David (b. 1852) m. Elizabeth Monk

Nelson (b.1860)

Eliza (b. 1848) m. unknown Sharp

Hi...I am looking for any descendents of Mahala L. Parker Preas, who was born in Bedford County, Virginia.  She was married to Joseph Preas, Jr.  Some of their children migrated down to Texas in the late 1880s from what I'm told.  I have found out that some of their children were living in "Cooper, Delta, Texas".  Any information you might have on Mahala would be greatly appreciated!!
