My great Grandmother was Arminta, Armenta, Elizabeth Parker born to Willam Parker and wife, Elizabeth, in Newton Co in 1858 and are on the 1860 census. Arminta married Walter McCary Johnson and are on the 1880 census in Vernon. Mo. Sometime after that they followed her parents to the panhandle of Texas but I cannot find any info re' when they moved or where they moved to. My Grandfather was born in Anson, TX. He had 3 older sisters, Maude, Laura, and Leola. Any info on the Johnsons and her Parker family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My Parker family has been in Missouri for over 160 years. Benjamin Gaither and wife Susanna Hudson came from Rhea Co. Tn. settled in/around Henry Co. Mo. My GG Granparents, Benjamin Franklin Parker and Martha Emma Gray moved to Dallas Co. Mo. My Great Grandfather was born and lived in Dallas Co. married Eva Lena Arnold, their child and my Grandfather, Benjamin William Parker was born in Dallas Co. married Idress Bessie Hoppers and they all moved to Saline Co. where my Dad was born... I'd be very happy to talk to anyone about these Parkers.

James Burgess Parker & wife Helen Mary Pemberton have been found in the 1860 & 1870 census, living in Knob Noster, Missouri, They had 3 known daughters, Martha F (born abt 1851), Elizabeth Elenor (born Feb 1853 in Kentucky) & Susan (born abt 1857). I am descended through Elizabeth Elenor who married Francis Chapman in 1872. I'd like to find the burial site of James Burgess Parker & his wife, & whether or not they had any children besides the 3 listed here.
