I have some pdf files that might interest many of you that contain information about the Parkers that lived in Higgins TX and Crismans first wife Lucy Crian-Parker. I've had some dificulty uploading these files to this website so if you want these files I'll be happy to e-mail them to anyone who requests them.

Ray, thanks to you and to the others for sharing this information. I am going to try and "match" as many names as I can.

We have known the approximate location of Parker Cemetery in Whitley County,KY., where John Parker was buried. I now have directions and GPS info. I am going to try to go there next spring. Below is a reply from Genealogy.com on this . Hey, Roger! Up for a roadtrip?

Sorry it took me so long to answer you back. My husband and I did find the Parker Cemetery. It was not easy. A GPS will be very helpful. Take I75 to exit 11, on to 92. Turn right on Main Street, very quickly you will turn left on to Becks Creek. Keep going up the mountain to Alsile Rd. becks Creek just goes around a curve and you are on Alsile Rd. Continue down the road not to fast you will see a ranch house on the right hand side. Slow down just past the house on the right is a very old road. It no longer looks like a road and you cannot get a car down you must walk it. GPS reading is 36deg 44.104N,084deg 13.266W. At the bottom you must walk the path and a creek will be on your left. A road or path will appear on the left, cross over the creek, and follow the path for about 1/8 of a mile until you see a "y" fork in the road. At this point look for a path going up the hill on you right side. GPS 36deg 44.226N, 084deg 13.403W. Go up the hill to GPS reading36deg 44.215N 084deg 13.370W. Look for headstones in this area, they are hard to see. The stones are flat and covered with leaves. Good Luck.
