Susie, John Marion moved to Arkansas in the early 1870's. He had two sons George and Joe and died in 1881 in Arkansas. You might look a generation back. William E, married Mary Ann Ensor about 1814 or 15. They had at least three sons. George T in 1815, John Jackson in 1819 and Joseph H in 1835. All of them had children with names such as William-George-John-Joe. All were born in Tennessee. The only other boy I have no record of would be Jackson born 1860. Let me know if I can help........Jim

Thanks Jimmie.  Since my grandmother Sallie's DOB is 1888, perhaps John J. Parker could have been her bio paternal grandfather.  Do we know anything about John Marion or the other brothers?  Since my aunts were told that Sallie's bio father's name was John Parker, I wonder if John Marion could have been her father.  Is there any info about where he lived or who his children were?  Thanks so much.

Susie, John J. Parker had the following children: Mary Ann 1848, Charlotte 1850, John Marion 1851, George Calvin 1855, Martha 1858,  Jackson 1860, Emma 1875. Chrisida was the mother of the first four. If any of this rings a bell. Let me know.

Does anyone know the names of the John J. Parker children and if so, is there any information about Parkers who lived in Lebanon or Murfreesboro, TN around 1888 - 1891 or so?  Thanks so much.

After spending a week in Knoxville and from other sources it has become evident that our John J. (Jackson) Parker is the son of William E. and Mary Ann Ensor Parker who were married 10/13/1815 Washington County Tennessee. They both listed their birth States as Maryland. He born 1785-died 4/14/1859. She died 1848. They had several children as follows:
