Parker researcher's needed

Between Darryl's website here and mine. I am positive that both sites could benefit many Parker researchers. My site has a lot of information, gathered from many people who posted their known Parker data. The site I started 12-14 years ago with MyFamily.com. The site is named, The Eastern Shore Parker's. Darryl and I have been working together on our sites for many years to help all Parker researchers.

A fellow researcher, Ivy, found some information on my ancester who was Assassinated in Mississippi in 1865. Great find Ivy.

Howard, I saw your message on GenForum for Wilmer Fleming Parker.

I found an article in the MD paper THE SUN. Aug 9, 1865 pg4

ASSASSINATED.--- The sad intelligence has reached Col. Thomas P. Parker of Worcester county, Md., of the assassination of his eldest son. Mr. Wilmer F. Parker, in Mississippi, while in bed, a few weeks since, by a man by the name of Elliott, with whom Mr. Parker had some difficulty. The deceased was about 25 years old and was a very promising young man. Mr. Parker was a member of the Worcester bar, and went to the South during the war to look after his father's interests at the place where he met his death, being engaged in the quiet pursuit of agriculture -- Snow Hill Hearld

S.Raymond. Morning to you. Too tired and old to speak clearly. Just woke up to go get ready to help at Station Ft. Lauderdale for a few days. This is what is called FLEET WEEK, whereas many Naval Vessels and personnel come to Port Everglades. The Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliry feed them and the Navy goes out to play golf, receptions and parties. Some sleep over with families. I have to get ready, the Station is about an hours drive and I am already late. Have a great day. Howard
