Profile Information

How did you hear about Parker Heritage?
I was researching my ancestry on the internet.
What is your interest in the Parker family?
Well I am a Parker and very proud of it. I started researching my ancestry last month and I became addicted. I have come to a halt however because I can't seem to find anymore information. I thought maybe joining here would help me in my research.

Walter Parker was my great great grandfather. We have never heard what happened to him. He married in Alabama to Mary Hudson and his father was Rev. Uriah Parker. They arrived in Bradley County in 1850 with a couple of children - girls. Mahalia was my great grandmother. We do not know what happend to Mary Hudson Parker (wife of Walter) but, her 4 daughters were placed in church family homes fairly young to be raised. Mahalia was taken in by the John Reeves family in Bradley County.

I am looking for Uriah Parker Family from Georgia inot Alabama and arrived in Arkansas 1850.

Baptist Minister Ebenezer Church in Alabama and then opened Ebenezer Church in Arkansas along with Walter Parker (his son). Walter married Mary Hudson in Alabama and had children, Elizabeth Parker and Mahalah. Do you have any history on Uriah and his parents? He was born in the late 1700's
