Actually, I have many more questions but realize I should wait until I see Julie's tree, wouldn't want to make you have to repeat yourself too many times. :> THanks
P86 and P148 match on 25 of 25 markers. They were not aware of a possible relationship prior to the DNA test result. P86 descends from John PARKER who died in 1760 Hampshire County Virginia (now W.VA.). John PARKER married Elizabeth (last name unknown). P148 descends from Wilson PARKER, born 1792 place unknown. He married Patience WATSON in 1820 in White County Illinois. Patience was born in 1796.
P171 matches P148 on 36 of 37 markers. His oldest ancestor is Thomas D. PARKER, born about 1799 in VA or PA (both listed in censuses). Thomas married Elizabeth ACREE, and died after 1860, probably in Calloway County, Kentucky.
P233 was added to this group on 23 Feb 2009. He descends from Nathaniel PARKER, born 1730 in Hampshire County, Virginia, died in 1803 in Sumner County Tennessee. Nathaniel married Ann CLAYTON.
Go to this link and read about Moses Parker who is said to be a nephew of Elder John Parker. http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM2B3F_Old_Spencer_Mill_Burns_TN
I think we will learn the truth if anyone from Moses' or Nathaniel's lines take the DNA test.
I will pass you interest on to Julie Kidd who has a very good documented tree. If you want an invitation to her tre, I will need your email address.
The Quanah Parker Society is basically for the Comanche Parker descendants.
Welcome aboard, "Cousin" Michaella,
