Thank you for your comments. My daughter Jess and I have dabbled in genealogy for awhile. We have reached a lot of dead ends and had a few successful inquiries. We have been in contact with Virginia Fuquay whom I believe was related to Clarence Parker. Here is here email address. vfuquay5@yahoo.com She has a lot of good information about the Parker family.
Wow, that's an extreme coincidence. That was only 3 years after my biological father was in that area. Do they have any male relatives that would be about 65 years old now that lived in California at that time? There was no "relationship" between my parents, they met at a Halloween party. Maybe "William" or "Bill" was an alias or a middle name? (Ya, I know I'm grasping at straws here. I just find this coincidence very interesting.)
Thanks for your time and adding me to your friend list! Peace. :)
