- What is your interest in the Parker family?
- I heard my great great grandmother's last name was Parker and she was full blooded Cherokee from the Carolina's. She worked as a servant for a family last name Harper and took on their last name. she married my great great grandfather Thomas Jeffeson Griffin. I also heard that her family was in the Trail of Tears.
