It seems strange, but I believe that there may have been 2 James Monroe Parker's in Arkansas born around 1870, and died around 1937. My Great Grandfather was James Monroe Parker, born in Carroll County Arkansas in 1868. His parents were John Mason Parker, and Codelia Meek, born in Kentucky,  his father John was born in bath county Kentucky, and his father Edward was born in Pitt County NC.

Searching Ancestry I find another John M Parker who was born around 1870 in Garland County and died there in 1937.

I don't know if this does anything but confuse the issue, but the name of James Monroe Parker caught my attention.

I believe that Peter Parker married Nancy J Jones possibly in Lawrence Co Alabama dau of Benjamin "Branch" Jones and Nancy J "harrison" . There are two Jones Females unaccounted for in that family...Also in the earliest census there is a Nancy J Jones 1850 living next door to Peter....

Do you have information on Elizabeth Nobles?
I have gotten off the internet census the copies of 1850 census records that show her parents as Russell Nobles 1850 census and Russell NOBLE 1860 her father married to Elizabeth Lowe dau of William Lowe. She had brother Marion Nobles 18 in 1850. (other siblings are listed.
algenweb blount co shows marriage to Flemming Bradford in 9 jan 1862.

William,

My name is Darren Parker. I have a Jame Parker (John) who was from Cleveland Tenn. His son Samuel moved to Sand Rock Alabama and had 9 children, Herbert Parker is my Great Great Grand Father.

Recently I had my Y-DNA (37 Marker) completed. I am overwhelmed with the information. I saw your post and see that you too have a connection to a James Parker from Tenn and you have some DNA info.

How can we compare?

Hope all is well.
