- my grandma was a parker before she married my grandad she was to clean in stately homes but married insted so the family dissowed her. allso her parents had a bakers in barnsley area called parkers baker. allso been told that some family member came from america when she had her son he wanted to take him back to america to give him a better life but she sed no. the relative was a steel worker in america dont know anything else. my grandma was called dorothy parker
