- my grandmother was Velma shopher her father was John lee Parker his father was John Ross Parker and his father was Silas Mercer Jr who was Cythnia Anns brother whos father was Silas Mercer Sr and you know the rest. I have the TIN plate shot of Cynthia Ann from the last years of her life when she lived with her sister Orlena. I also have the book "Under the Parker Tree" by Scarlett Kidd Bryant... I would love to talk..I do believe my tin shot is nothing thats ever been seen passed down with the bible..

Thank you for the pictures posted ... have you viewed the ones I posted? They are all unidentified, but likely members of the Parker and Parks family of Anderson County TX.
With regards to the book "Under the Parker Tree," does it contain many photos and/or info on the Parker family beyond Daniel (1781-1844) and his brothers (ie: Silas)? Do you know where I can find a copy?
My Parker connection:
Daniel Parker (1781-1844) to Isaac Parker (1824-1881) to Harriet Parker (1863-1921, my 2G Grandmother). I am sorry I do not have photos of Isaac or Harriet to share.
