Preservation and Celebration of the Parker Family History & Genealogy

I have posted a large Parker family portrait that was probably taken at the funeral of William Allen Parker in 1914 (for whom a chair was left empty) on my webpage (www.familyimmortal.com). The following people are in the photograph (if there is no last name listed, then it is Parker), as they are identified on the back of the photograph.

Seated: Sissy Elizabeth Parker Mise, Empty chair (for W.A. Parker), “Grandmother Mother Parker” (Sue), and John Parker

Standing: Emma Parker Crawford, George Mise, Albert, Unknown Woman, Charles, James, Paul, Jacob, Jacob’s wife, Eula, Ada, Beatrice (Thomas), Fox, Martha.

In Historical Sketches of Clarke County, Alabama   listed on page 113,  in 1889, Rev. W. A Parker

was pastor of Ulcanush Baptist Church constituted in 1816...still in the same location..

in 1878, Rev. P.E. Kirven was pastor there.  Ulcanush is in Coffeeville, Al.

On page 114, same book as above, Rev. W. A. Parker was pastor of  Coffeeville Baptist Church

1906-1912.  I believe this 1912 is the year he left for Texas.
