John Parker 1780
With the help of a cousin I am finding two John Parkers in 1850 Yell Col Ark. These two also lived in Alabama One goes by John C Parker and I have deeds were he purchasted land in 1845 in Yell Co. and has slaves,John C lived in Chambers co AL and John lived in Blount & Walker Co;s AL in 1840 Can any one help on this

It sounds to me like one of your John Parker's you are looking for could be John Cryer Parker,born Feb 23, 1780 in Maryland died some time after 1850 in Dardanelle, Yell, AR. he married about 1810 to Rachel Shipley. She was born abt 1782 and died after 1829. John C's father was also named John, he was born 1755 in what was VA but is now Hampshire Co, WV. and his mother was Mary "Molly" Rogers, born abt 1759 in King & Queen Co VA I have that there were 10 children of this union. Our line descends from their son Meridith W. Parker, born in 1829 in Chambers, AL. If I can help in any way, give me a holler.
