Proud grandmother
My grandaughter will be going in as Red River Intertribal Princess, she represented Quanah Parker Descendants and did a good job, I'm very proud of her.

My Parker Family comes from Red River County. My Great Grandfather was DC Parker and he married Beula Barrett. His father was C. Parker - I do not know this for certain as I am not able to go back farther than DC. His mother was Meedy and passed away in 1939 in Red River County. I have heard that she had some land in Oklahoma that became an orphanage named after her. I have been told that she was Indian. Maybe there is a connection in Red River. Any thoughts?
